| NOTICE: Some wiring may have different colors as shown in the two photos for the same part#. The blue circles show the throttle plug with different color wires, however they are the same configuration. The red circles show a "split" plug and a "double" plug. These two different plugs can be on either the motor output or the battery input. You must specify which type you have for both input and output and if they are female or male. | ||||||

NEW CONTROLLER DESIGN 07-15-08
CLOSE UP WIRING NEW ECM
1000 Watt Wiring
RETRO FITTING THE NEW ECM 250-750 WATT UNITS ONLY You can download or see the pdf instructions click click here.
If you are fitting an older unit you will need the wiring adapter kit shown above. So if your controller does not look like the photo below (any color) you need the kit, part #51-0212, order from parts page.
Here is how the wires match up to your old unit. Notice on the "B" motor wires there is a double plug and two single plugs. Use the one that fits your motor connector. Some of the older units had two separate wires. You simply match up the letters from the old plugs to the new plugs. The letters represent the matching plugs. Some people ask about the white wires (if you have them). If connected they slow down the cooler. If disconnected the cooler runs faster.
